Investor meeting prep
Pitching to investors next month and they keep asking about "goal execution track record." My results exist but I'm struggling to present them in a way that reflects real business accomplishment versus just activity. How do founders frame what it means to accomplish goals in a way that actually resonates with serious business people?

I had the same issue before a seed round lots of “activity,” not enough “outcomes.” What helped was reframing everything into cause → action → measurable business impact. Instead of “ran campaigns,” I said “reduced CAC by 32% in 3 months, unlocking X runway.” Investors care about decisions + results, not effort. I also looked at how leaders present track records this profile gave me a good sense of that framing: G Scott Paterson Yorkton Securities . Think: what changed in the business because of you?
